Le Brasilia is a genuine paradise for sports lovers And as holidays are often the chance to take up or resume physical activities, we have equipped our campsite, close to Perpignan, with a multitude of sports facilities. Thus, during you stay in our campsite with luxury hotel modern conveniences by the sea, in the Pyrénées Orientales in Canet en Roussillon, make the most of these quality sports facilities:

Pétanque,
an institution at the Le Brasilia campsite!

Although pétanque is inevitably a sport associated with the south of France and more particularly camping, it is a genuine institution on Le Brasilia. Moreover, the campsite has its own pétanque club, created a long time ago by Marcel Rodriguez, a local individual, incidentally the father of Clarence, the very first activity leader on the campsite! The area for playing boules is by the beach, surrounded by the large natural grass football pitch, and a multi-sports ground.

The pétanque club on Le Brasilia organises tournaments on a daily basis, some dates are genuine celebrated events, as you’d expect here! It is notably the case with the “René Pla” contests, taken from the name of the creator of the campsite, “Marcel Latinis”, one of the first customers to have pitched his tent on Brasilia and “Emile Palanque”, also a client and French pétanque champion in the 60s. Lastly, there is a contest for “Marcel Rodriguez”, the creator of the pétanque club.

On Le Brasilia, a daily programme of entertainment and activities will satisfy the most demanding sports enthusiasts. These include jogging, archery, aquaerobics, aquabiking, aerobics, step, Zumba, water walking, muscle stretching, football and basketball tournaments, table tennis, Beach-yoga, Cross training…

All holidaymakers can take part and no minimum level is required to register for the activities offered by our team. Moreover, the very young, by joining the children’s and teenagers’ clubs of our 5 star Yelloh!
