The Plage du Sardinal beach is the most northern seaside resort of Canet en Roussillon. It runs alongside the Le Brasilia campsite, between the Têt estuary, a coastal river in the Pyrénées Orientales, and the Canet marina.
If the water park of our 5 star campsite in the South is not enough for you, go to the beach for a swim!
The beach has lifeguards in the summer season. You can, besides swimming, indulge in idleness on your towel to get a tan, whilst the children build sandcastles.

an authentic seaside resort
of the south of France
The seaside resort of Canet en Roussillon is one of the most authentic of the south of France. The town has within its area nine large sandy beaches, and these can accommodate numerous water sports and tourist activities.
The Plage du Sardinal beach, which runs alongside our Pyrénées Orientales campsite, is the only one located in the north of the town of Canet.
From the port towards the south, in the direction of Saint Cyprien, you thus find the beaches, successively the Plage de la Jetée, Plage du Roussillon, Plage Centrale, Plage du Grand Large, Plage de la Marenda, Plage Sud, Plage du Mar Estang and Plage du Lido.
On a number of them, swimming has lifeguards during summer, and amongst the water sports activities on offer, you can indulge in jet skiing, kitesurfing, sailing, catamaran, windsurfing, stand-up paddle boarding, beach volleyball, beach soccer, beach rugby, etc.
